Data Retention Policy
- Rejected reports: Retained for a limited internal review window to support the appeals process, then deleted unless subject to a legal hold.
- Abandoned drafts (incomplete submissions): Deleted after a limited period of inactivity.
- Raw identity-verification documents: Retained only as long as necessary to complete verification, then deleted or de-identified.
- Raw evidence files: Retained for as long as the associated listing remains active, plus a limited period after removal to support appeals and legal-hold obligations.
- Access logs (who viewed evidence, moderation actions): Retained for a defined period for security and accountability purposes.
- Deleted accounts: Personal account data is deleted or de-identified within a reasonable period after a verified deletion request, except where retention is required by law or an active legal hold.
- Legal holds: Any data subject to a legal hold (litigation, law-enforcement request, active dispute) is retained until the hold is lifted, regardless of the standard retention period.
