How VegasBlacklist Works

Four steps stand between any claim and publication: documentation, moderation, publication with context, and a standing right of reply.

1. Someone submits a documented report

A registered, logged-in user submits a report about a scam, theft, fraud, or serious non-payment dispute in the Las Vegas area. The submitter must attach evidence and attest that the report is accurate to the best of their knowledge and is not being submitted to harass, extort, or gain unfair advantage. 2. A human moderator reviews it

No submission goes live automatically. A moderator checks the report against the Evidence Standards and the Moderation and Publication Policy — confirming there's a documented basis, the content follows the Community Content Rules, and personal information is handled correctly (phone numbers are never published in full).

3. Published listings are framed as allegations, not verdicts

A published report is presented as the submitter's documented allegation — clearly attributed, evidence-backed, and never framed as a proven fact unless a linked court record or police report establishes it as such. VegasBlacklist does not adjudicate disputes; it applies consistent publication standards.

4. Every named party can respond, for free, always

Anyone named in a report can submit a public response at any time through the Respond or Dispute center — free of charge, with no exceptions. This includes disputing facts, providing context, flagging mistaken identity, or showing the matter was resolved. See how to respond if you're named in a report.

Search before you rely on anything

Search checks names, business names, and social handles tied to published reports. Phone number search only confirms whether a number is associated with a published report — full numbers are never displayed.
